The Shimano Alivio FD-M3120 2x9-speed front derailleurs use Shimano's new Side Swing for enhanced cable routing, light action, and smooth operation. The new design also increases clearance for large wheels and short chain stays.

Designed specifically with modern trail bikes in mind, Shimano side swing technology front derailleurs increases tyre clearance, while cable routing resulting in the lightest shifting action yet.
Compataibility:
The Direct mount & E-type mount options are compatible with 48.8/51.8mm chainline
2 versions of Mid Mount are available: Mid mount is compatible with 48.8mm Chainline & Mid Mount Boost is compatible with 51.8mm chainline
48.8mm=142mm rear frame spacing & 51.8mm=148mm rear frame spacing
