The quick release mechanism allows the seat post height to be adjusted in a matter of seconds without the need for any tools ensuring your saddle is always exactly where you want it. The quick release design is ideal for any scenario where the seat post height needs to be adjusted regularly or for easily removing the seat post when the bike is parked to avoid it been pinched. A 34.9mm seat clamp is usually used with a 31.6mm seatpost.
