To create this jewel, Campagnolo have combined the knowledge of their engineers and the most expert testers, together with feedback from pro cyclists. The result is a new wheelset for racing bikes with the magic ratio of features: lightweight construction, unmatched reactivity and superior handling.

Campagnolo have taken H.U.L.C. molding technology and C-LUX finish to the next level to make Hyperon Ultras easy on the eyes and light on the scales. With the aim of enhancing cyclists’ riding experience and performance, they have achieved unmatched reactivity with the new Head-2-Bay system, created to ensure high precision head-to-bay coupling, to which have been fitted with super-smooth CULT bearings and a new lighter N3W freewheel body.

For superior handling, they relied on historic Campagnolo knowhow and also applied the famous Aero-MoMag technology to the Hyperon Ultra wheels, ensuring benefits in terms of aerodynamics and even better looks. The rims feature the tried and tested 2-Way Fit technology with no holes on the upper bridge. Their special single-joint construction guarantees and further increases wheelset stiffness. With an inner width of 21mm and rim profile of 37mm, Hyperon Ultra is a wheel that adapts to the needs of even the most demanding cyclist while enhancing the looks of any bike. LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION:
These premium performance wheels are the result of many years research and development and utilise Campagnolo’s exclusive Handmade Ultra-Light Carbon (H.U.L.C.) process. This industry-leading technique sees Campagnolo engineers optimise the use of both carbon fibre and proprietary resin for the perfect combination of strength, stiffness and lightness.

UNMATCHED REACTIVITY:
Adding a further reactive edge is down to the C.U.L.T. aka Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology. The extraordinary ceramic hub bearing has slashed frictional forces to the absolute bare minimum, meaning your bike reacts in the fastest, most stable way possible.

SUPERIOR HANDLING:
The 21 spokes are split as 14 on the left-hand side of the rim and seven on the right-hand side. The reason is that having 14 on the left-hand side results in maximum braking stability. That’s because it’s the left side that absorbs the greatest forces due to the positioning of the disc rotor. And is why the right side can drop to seven spokes, meaning a low weight and maximum thrust efficiency. Together, that braking stability and reliable acceleration results in superb handling.

C-LUX FINISH:
C-LUX is an evolution of the already premium finish of Campagnolo carbon rims. Their high gloss, mirror-like surface is not only high-quality but is so flawlessly smooth that it doesn’t require lacquer, saving weight. The scientific precision of C-LUX also helps to ensure the safest possible seating of tubeless tyres, increasing the pressure seal, ease of installing and reduce the risk of abrasions to the bead.

CULT BEARINGS:
Standing for Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology, CULT bearings offer a significant upgrade from all other bearings. The key to CULT's extraordinary performance is using the highest quality materials in its hybrid construction. Incredibly hard and perfectly round ceramic bearings maintain consistent performance over time and run on synthetic oil on stainless-steel races which have been specially-treated to make them resistant to wear.

Shimano/SRAM option is compatible with Shimano road 9, 10, 11 & 12 speed cassettes and SRAM 9, 10 & 11 speed cassettes
XDR option is compatible with SRAM 11 & 12 speed XDR cassettes only

N3W:
N3W (Next 3 Ways) is a patented freehub body that provides compatibility with 9/10/11/12/13 speed Campagnolo cassettes. The N3W freehub is directly compatible with 13 speed cassettes with a 9T or 10T starting cog without the AC21-N3W adapter. With the AC21-N3W adapter which is included with the wheels the freehub is compatible with 9/10/11/12 speed Campagnolo cassettes with an 11T starting cog, in addition to the adapter the Z11 lockring must be used. The Z11 lockring is longer in length compared to the standard lockring supplied with a cassette, the additional length of the lockring is required to safely reach the internal threads of the N3W freehub body.
