  • Take off existing gear knob from shift stem. Slide the base cover (unscrewed) from the gear knob over stem
  • Choose the right sleeve adaptor for the stem of the vehicle and screw it down securely
  • Put the new gear knob onto the installed sleeve
  • Tighten the screws at base of the gear knob securely
  • Screw the base cover firmly to the base of the gear knob
