Halfords Fade Out Thinner 400ml

The Halfords Fade Out Thinner 400ml Removes rough edges and any "orange peel" effect from your panel repair, to help you blend the new paint into the existing finish.

This thinner works by reactivating the surface film of the paint, meaning you can blend in any overspray and flatten the new paint for a seamless finish. It can be used on clear lacquers and solid colours, although it’s not suitable for metallic or pearlescent paints that have not been overcoated with a clear lacquer.

CAUTIONS:
Do not apply too much Fade Out Thinner as it will cause run marks.
Do not use on metallic or pearlescent paints which have not been over-sprayed with a clear lacquer.

*The drying time can change depending on the ambient temperature, humidity and the thickness of the coats applied. Ensure the paint is fully dry before moving onto the next stage.
Take care when preparing older paint surfaces (pre-1970) as these may contain harmful lead.
Make sure you have enough ventilation in the area you’re painting in to prevent a harmful build-up of solvent gasses.

Dispose of contents / container in accordance with regional regulations.
